Win a Telsa Powerwall 2 + Install Amber Electric

Register your interest with Amber to go into the draw for a chance to win a Tesla Powerwall
home battery, installed in your home and ready to use. The following terms and conditions
apply to the promotion:
1. Start & end date
(a) Wednesday 19 October 12:00am - Thursday 15 December 2022 at 11:59pm (AEDT)
(b) Drawn - Friday 16 December 2022 at 12:00pm (AEDT) at Level 17, 31 Queen Street,
Melbourne, VIC, 3000 (Amber’s office)
2. The Prize
Tesla Powerwall 2 battery (including up to AUD5,000 towards the cost of installation)
supplied by Amber worth approximately AUD15,500 (Prize). (Note that, depending
on the dwelling, some battery installations may be more costly than this. Where this is
the case, a Winner may choose to fund the excess installation cost themselves if
they still wish to redeem the Prize).

3. Eligibility
(a) 18 years or over
(b) Is not a current Amber customer - no currently active account with Amber
(c) Owns a dwelling that:
(1) is suitable for installation of the Prize;
(2) is in an area serviced by Amber Electric (Amber Service Area). The Amber
Service Area includes most of Victoria, South Australia, the Australian Capital
Territory, New South Wales, and South East Queensland. You can check if you
are in an Amber Service Area here; and
(3) gives the winner the legal right to install a battery system on their dwelling
(Eligible Entrants).
(d) If the Prize winner does not satisfy the criteria of clause 3(c) they may gift the Prize
to a suitable third party (Gift Recipient) provided that the third party satisfies all
eligibility criteria and installation of the battery at the premises of the third party
will be taken to constitute full and effective delivery of the Prize to the winner
under these terms and conditions.
4. How to enter
(a) Entry must be submitted during the promotional period (19 October to 15
December 2022).

(b) 1 x entry for every person who registers interest in Amber by providing their email
address in the “Register Interest” section of Amber’s website here:

5. How the winner is chosen
(a) The Promotion is a game of chance
(b) A Winner will be chosen by https://commentpicker.com/random-namepicker.php and witnessed by an independent scrutineer.
(c) 16 December 2022 @ 12:00 pm (AEDT)
6. How winner is announced/ notified
(a) Announced: On Amber social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook,
Instagram at 2:00pm (AEDT) on 16 December 2022
(b) Winner will be emailed on or around 16 December 2022
7. Claiming the Prize
(a) Winner must accept the Prize by 11:59PM on 15 March 2023 by return email or by
such other method specified in the email notification; and
(b) if a Prize is not claimed by that time, the Winner will be taken to have forfeited
the Prize and the Prize may be awarded to a Reserve Winner chosen in a redraw
as set out in clause 8.
8. Reserve Winner Redraw
(a) If the Winner does not claim the Prize personally and does not gift the Prize to an
eligible Gift Recipient by 15 March 2023 a redraw will be conducted to select a
Reserve Winner.
(b) If required, a redraw will be conducted at 3pm on Monday 20 March 2023 by the
same method as used to select the Winner, that is by
https://commentpicker.com/random-name-picker.php and witnessed by an
independent scrutineer.
(c) The same eligibility and regift provisions apply to any Reserve Winner selected in
a redraw as apply to the original Winner, as set out in clauses 3, 9 and 10.
(d) The results of a redraw, if conducted, will be announced on Amber social media
platforms on or around Tuesday 21 March 2023 and the Reserve Winner will be
emailed as soon as practicable on or around that date.
9. Prerequisites to Claim
As conditions of the Winner or Reserve Winner or Gift Recipient (as the case may be)
(Prize Recipient) claiming the Prize, the Prize Recipient must:
(a) accept these terms;
(b) consent to the publication of their name (which can be an initial and
surname if preferred by the Prize Recipient) in accordance with these terms;

(c) consent to Amber using the Prize Recipient's name or initial and surname,
likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of
the same) and suburb in any media for an unlimited period without
remuneration for the purpose of this Promotion (including any outcome); and
(d) sign any legal release and indemnity as may be reasonably required by the
Promoter and/or any suppliers of any elements of the Prize; and
(e) Amber must conduct a dwelling design and installation assessment (Site
Assessment) and confirm that the Prize Recipient's dwelling is suitable for
installation of the Prize.
10. Installation
If:
(a) a dwelling is determined by Amber to be suitable for installation of a Prize following
a Site Inspection; and
(b) the Prize Recipient does not wish to re-gift the Prize,
the Prize will be:
(c) delivered to the approved dwelling of the Prize Recipient; and
(d) installed by reputable and qualified installation suppliers organised by Amber.
11. General terms
(a) If the Winner (or the Reserve Winner, if applicable) already has a home battery,
they may choose to forfeit the Prize or or transfer the Prize as a gift in accordance
with clause 3(d).
(b) A person is eligible to enter the competition and register their interest even if they
have previously been a customer of Amber but have left and are currently with
another retailer.
(c) Prizes are not redeemable for cash
(d) If for any reason any aspect of this promotion is not capable of running as
planned, including by reason of computer virus, communications network failure,
bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause
beyond the control of Amber, Amber may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate,
modify or suspend the promotion and invalidate any affected entries, or suspend
or modify a prize, subject to applicable State or Territory regulations.
