General Conditions
This prize draw is open to anyone aged 18 years or over, except employees of TripConsul Ltd (“Promoter”), Global Hotel Alliance (“GHA”) and their families, agents or anyone else professionally associated with the draw. Competition entrants must be members of the GHA Discovery programme to qualify and may be required to provide their membership number to have this verified. Non-members can sign up for free via https://www.gha.com/member/create_account
Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries must be submitted viathe Contest Landing Page at http://lh.cityunscripted.com/win-a-trip-to-bangkok-for-2 and entry is restricted to one per person. Once submitted, entries cannot be amended in any way.
Late, illegible, incomplete, defaced or corrupt entries or entries sent through agencies and third parties will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries and proof of dispatch will not be accepted as proof of receipt. One winner will be drawn at random from all entries received by the closing date of the prize draw. The winner’s name and country can be obtained by emailing us at info@CityUnscripted.com within one month after the closing date of the prize draw.
All entries must be received by 31 May, 2017.
The winner will be contacted within 14 days of the closing date of the prize draw. Should the Promoter be unable to contact the winner or should the winner be unable to accept the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
The prize as described is available on the date of publication. Should the prize become unavailable, a substitute of equal value shall be provided.
The winning entrant will win a 4 night (5 day) holiday for two to Bangkok. The prize package comprises:
Roundtrip economy class flights to Bangkok International Airport to a maximum value of US$2,000 (for both tickets in total);
4 nights accommodation in Bangkok at Avani or Anantara hotels (subject to availability and black out periods, vouchers will be provided, see conditions of booking below)
A fully personalised and authentic 14 hours (2 X 7 hours) experience with a Local host (English speaker) to see and enjoy the best of Bangkok from a local’s perspective provided by CityUnscripted
The prize must be taken as one package.
The prize does not include: any transport except for roundtrip economy flights to and from Bangkok: travel insurance; food and drink; personal expenditure or incidental costs, other than where mentioned.
It is the responsibility of the prize winner to ensure they and their guest have a valid passport and travel insurance and obtain any necessary vaccinations and visas for their trip.
The prize is valid for departures between 1 July 2017 and 31 December 2017 (excluding blackout days). Once confirmed, the booking cannot be amended. The winner and their guest must travel together at all times.
The prize is subject to availability, non transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
The winner may be required to participate in reasonable publicity on behalf of the GHA and the Promoter.
By entering the competition you agree to receive communications from us from time to time from which you can unsubscribe at any time.
Accommodation Booking Instructions & Terms of the Hotel Voucher/s:

Reservations made directly through the hotel will not be covered by the GHA voucher
Accommodation includes standard room only for up to two people sharing
Stay must be consumed by the date indicated on the voucher. No extensions will be permitted
Reservations are subject to availability and blackout dates may apply
All booking requests must be made minimum 1 month prior to travelling
A copy of the voucher must be sent to Global Hotel Alliance with the reservation request
Original voucher must be given to the hotel at check in
Your voucher is only redeemable at participating Global Hotel Alliance hotels as indicated on the voucher. Locations are subject to change without notice. The voucher is valid for the number of nights indicated on the front and is good for one continuous stay comprising consecutive nights at any one participating Global Hotel Alliance hotel.
No credit will be issued for a voucher that is not fully used. The voucher is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The voucher is deemed void if altered, photocopied, or reproduced. Any unauthorised sale, reproduction or distribution constitutes fraud. Tax liability, if any, including disclosure, are user’s responsibility. The voucher is not valid in conjunction with any other promotional offers or certificates.
Additional nights are available at charge and upon availability. Additional guests will be subject to additional hotel charges. Guests are responsible for all other charges not covered by the voucher. Voucher does not include gratuities. Guest may be subject to additional hotel charges. Normal arrival/departure restrictions apply.
By making a reservation with a hotel using your voucher, you accept and agree to the cancellation and no-show policy of that individual hotel. Failure to cancel a booking within the specified time frame or no-show may constitute to a redeemed voucher and no alternative stay may be booked using that voucher. The availability of hotel stays at some destinations is subject to government approvals, regulations, restrictions, and applicable taxes.
Flights and Local host booking:
Contact CityUnscripted at Bookings@CityUnscripted.com or on +44 203 776 1000 and provide preferred dates for the flights and the Local experiences. Flights and experiences may be subject to black out periods. Flights & experiences must be booked and taken before 31 December 2017 and are subject to availability and maximum total cost of $2,000 (ie max of $1,000 per roundtrip per person).
Events may occur that render the prize draw itself or the awarding of the prize impossible due to reasons beyond the control of the Promoter and accordingly the Promoter may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the Promoter as a result thereof.
GHA and the Promoter are responsible for the the publication and adjudication of the prize draw and the provision of the prize.
These Terms and Conditions are to be interpreted in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of these Terms or their subject matter is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. All rights reserved.
