Only one entry per member is permitted - so make it count! The competition closes on August 31, 2018.
Each entry will be judged individually and Travelzoo will select its favourite as the winner. The prize winner will be announced on September 7, 2018.

Terms and Conditions:
1. Instructions on how to enter and the prize information forms part of these Terms and Conditions of entry. Participation in this Competition is deemed as acceptance of these Terms and Conditions of entry.
2. The Competition commences at 9:00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on August 19, 2018 and concludes at 5:00pm (AEST) on August 31, 2018 (Promotional Period).
3. To enter the Competition, entrants must: (a) Confirm they are an existing Subscriber to Travelzoo Australia; (b) Complete the competition entry form with all required details; (c) Agree to the Terms & Conditions of entry.
4. Entrants (including winner) must be 18 years of age or over. If the winner of a prize is under the age of 18 years the prize will be awarded to the prize winner’s parent or legal guardian.
5. The main prize will be: A 13-Night best of China Tour for two travelling twin share valued at $3998 courtesy of Expedition Exclusive. The prize includes:
• Return international economy class flights from Sydney or Melbourne with China Southern, Air China, Sichuan Airlines, Hainan Airlines or similar.
• Three-night twin share hotel accommodation in Qingdao in the Hui Quan Dynasty Hotel or similar.
• Three-night twin share hotel accommodation in Beijing in the Chunhuiyuan Hot Springs Hotel or similar.
• One-night twin share hotel accommodation in Suzhou in the Holiday Inn Suzhou Huirong Plaza or similar.
• One-night twin share hotel accommodation in Hangzhou in the Holiday Inn Hangzhou or similar.
• One-night twin share hotel accommodation in Shanghai in the Holiday Inn Shanghai West or similar.
• Four-night twin share cruise accommodation on Victoria Anna Cruise or similar.

The main prize does NOT include the following:
• Any domestic travel within Australia.
• Compulsory tipping of CNY$920 per person (circa AUD $182) is payable and non-refundable in case of cancellation at any time.
• Visa to China.
• Travel Insurance.
• Applicable surcharge for optional activities,
• Anything not listed in the itinerary - e.g. laundry, personal items, alcoholic drinks & etc.
6. The offer is non-transferable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to hold and carry a valid passport and any necessary visas. The prize does not include any ancillary costs: these are at the winner’s expense. Travel insurance is not included in the prize, however is strongly recommended. The successful applicants release the Promoter from any and all causes of action, losses, liability, damage, expense (including legal expenses) cost of charge suffered, sustained or in any way incurred by the winner as a result of any loss or damage to any physical property of the winner, or any injury to or death of any person arising out of, or related to, or in any way connected with the Promoter or the promotion.
7. Entries (including winner) into the competition are limited to one per person.
8. Entrants can only enter in their own name. Entrants who provide incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information are ineligible to participate in the promotion and all entries of an Entrant who is deemed by the Promoter to have provided incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information may, at the discretion of the Promoter, be deemed invalid. The Promoter reserves the right to request the Entrant produce (within the requested time) appropriate photo identification or other documentation (to the Promoter’s satisfaction, at its sole discretion) in order to confirm the Entrant’s identity, age, residential address, eligibility to enter and claim the prize, and any information submitted by the Entrant in entering the promotion, before issuing the prize. If any documentation required by the Promoter is not received by the Promoter (or its nominated agent) or an Entrant or entry has not been verified or validated to the Promoter’s (or its nominated agent’s) satisfaction then all the entries of that Entrant may be ineligible and deemed invalid.
9. The judging for the winning prize will be take place from 12:00pm (AEST) on September 3, 2018 at Travelzoo Australia Pty. Limited: Plaza Building - Australia Square, Level 4, 95 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000.
10. The prize winner will be contacted by email and announced on social media (www.facebook.com/travelzooau, www.instagram.com/travelzooau and www.twitter.com/travelzooaus) on September 7, 2018.
11. The Promoter’s judging panel will review all entries submitted. The entry that is judged to be the best by the panel will be deemed the main prize winner.
12. The Promoter’s decision is final and no other correspondence will be entered into.
13. The winner of the main prize will be notified by email and by social media announcement (www.facebook.com/travelzooau, www.instagram.com/travelzooau and www.twitter.com/travelzooaus) on September 7, 2018. It is the responsibility of the main prize winners to contact the promoter Travelzoo Australia Pty. Limited: Plaza Building - Australia Square, Level 4, 95 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000 no later than 6.00pm on September 21, 2018 with the full details of all passengers to go on the prize.
14. Officers, employees and immediate families of officers and employees of the Promoter, the Sponsor and the associated companies and contractors of the Promoter and any other agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to enter. (Please note this means that staff cannot enter).
15. Entry to the Competition is free/subject to the above terms. Entrants will be responsible for all costs associated with entering the Competition, including but not limited to costs associated with accessing the internet.
16. The prize awarded may not be exactly as illustrated in displays or marketing for the competition.
17. Unless otherwise specified, prizes or any unused portion of the prize, are not exchangeable or transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
18. In the event that for any reason whatsoever a winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and cash will not be awarded in lieu of that element of the prize.
19. If any prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize equal to the value and/or specification.
20. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry which includes objectionable content, profanity, potentially insulting, inflammatory or defamatory statements that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. An entry that is incomplete, indecipherable, illegible or non-compliant with these Terms and Conditions is invalid and will not be accepted or considered. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
21. If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Competition to the full extent permitted by law and subject to any approval or directions from a regulatory authority.
22. It is a condition of entry that the entrant consents to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of the Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products and services, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoters.
23. As a condition of participating in the prize, the winner must procure that the winner's companion (if any) also consents to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in the manner set out in this condition and agrees to participate in all reasonable promoted activities in relation to the prize as requested by the Promoter and its agents and sign any additional documents reasonably required by the Promoter to give effect to this condition.

24. By entering the Competition, an entrant releases and indemnifies the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) from and against all actions, liabilities, penalties, claims or demands the entrant may have against the Promoter or that the Promoter may incur for any loss or damage which is or may be suffered or sustained as a direct or indirect result of an entrant entering or participating in the Competition or winning or failing to win a prize, or using or permitting any other person to use the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law or which would cause any part of this clause to be void or unenforceable.?

25. The Competition is being run by the Promoter: Travelzoo Australia Pty. Limited - Plaza Building - Australia Square, Level 4, 95 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW 2000 during the Promotional Period.
26. The prize winner will be contacted on September 7, 2018. The winner of the main prize must provide the Promoter with the full details of passengers to go on the prizes by 6.00pm on September 21, 2018. Failure to do so may forfeit the prize.
27. Expedition Exclusives require the winners to redeem their booking no later than 30 calendar days from the date the winner is announced. All bookings are subject to the terms and conditions of Expedition Exclusive, who reserve the rights to change the voucher redemption terms and conditions at any time, and the winners agree to abide by the most recent version of this.
