Conditions of Entry
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
2. Entry is only open to Australian residents. Employees and immediate families of the Promoter and Supplier, and stallholders and their agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step grand-parent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister, or 1st cousin.
3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
4. Single entry permitted only (per person). To be eligible the entrant must complete an entry form either online at www.southmelbournemarket.com.au, at South Melbourne Market or at a participating italktravel store in metro Melbourne:

6. Promotion commences on 28/02/2017 at 8:00am AEST. Entries close on 31/05/2017 at 4.00pm AEST.
7. The one (1) winner will be notified by email. After confirmation the winner’s name will be published on the South Melbourne Market website for one month from 10am AEST on 19/06/2017.
8. No responsibility accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
9. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. The winner will be drawn randomly.
11. The prize includes the following trip to Europe:
a. 2 x return flights to Europe with Qatar Airways ex Melbourne valued at $5,000AUD. Flights will include arrival into London and departure from Rome, with an internal flight or train between the two. Winner can opt to reverse the trip, subject to availability.
b. Airport transfers to accommodation in London and Rome

12. * A Roman Countryside Cooking Lesson: This is part of the land arrangement supplied by italktravel.
Located about 1 hour drive (transfer to this experience is not included) from the bustling centre of Rome is the medieval village of Mazzano; an oasis of calm and beauty and the setting for your cookery course. Under the guidance of your fun and friendly Italian Chef, who is passionate about Italian cooking, you will immerse yourself in Italian life to discover the gastronomic delights of Rome. The Chef will take you on a walking tour of Mazzano and the food market before heading to his wonderful cooking school and restaurant to start cooking. Cooking courses concentrate on techniques and skills to make fresh, seasonal Italian dishes and rather than focusing on working from a recipe, your Chef will give you the confidence to create your own dishes for a typical Italian menu from anti pasta to dessert. Your cooking lesson lasts for around 3-4 hours after which you’ll sit down together and eat the delicious meal you’ve learned to cook accompanied by local wines from the region, finishing about 3pm in the afternoon.

Join Louis at Borough Market and he’ll introduce you to its star stallholders, so you can find out why their produce has got foodies all a quiver. Dependent on dates, he'll also visit nearby Maltby Street and the recently opened Druid Street Market. We guarantee there will be lots of delectable titbits to taste along the way. Please note: This experience is only available on weekends.

*A Taste of Borough Market Gastrotour. This has been supplied directly by Borough Market. This component will need to be booked directly with Celia Brooks (tour guide) using vouchers supplied by South Melbourne Market.
Join Celia to discover the secrets and delights of London’s oldest and most renowned food market. Explore the huge range of exceptional British and international produce available and learn all the fascinating facts about the Market’s rich history.
Kicking off with a meet and greet session over drinks and pastries at a chic restaurant within the Market, you’ll then accompany Celia for an exclusive tasting tour. As a passionate food expert, Celia will show you the best that Borough has to offer and lavish you with bespoke tastings of the unique foods and wines on offer here. You will taste an array of treats, including rare breed meats, fine cheeses from Britain and beyond, superfood juices, fresh scallops, olives and antipasti, homemade Turkish meze, plus many more, whilst hearing the stories behind the creation of these fabulous artisan foods. Two tutored wine tastings are also included in this educational, delicious and demystifying Borough Market experience.
Celia is officially licensed by Borough Market to conduct these events.
You can book on specified morning dates from 10:00am – 1:00pm.
15. All travel and land arrangements must be booked by 31 August 2017 through a participating italktravel store and travel completed by 31 March 2018. Blackout periods may apply and all requests are subject to availability.
16. Total prize pool is valued at $8,944 (flights $5000, land arrangements $2700, travel card $1000, Borough Market Gastrotour $244). All values in AUD.
17. Once redeemed, if the value of the prize is less than the total prize pool, the remaining balance will be forfeited.
18. The prize does NOT include additional costs as indicated, but not limited to, those listed below:
a. Spending money over AUD$1000.
b. Meals
c. Travel insurance
d. Passports
e. Visas
f. Transport to and from departure point
g. All other ancillary costs, as well as obtaining any of these, are the responsibility of the winner.
19. Any cancellation fees or changes to the itinerary will remain the cost of the passenger.
20. Prize cannot be used in conjunction with any other italktravel or third party discounts or special offers.
21. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or any other circumstance beyond the control of the Promoter and Supplier, the Supplier reserves the right to either provide an alternative travel destination to the same value as the original prize or, subject to any applicable laws or written directions made under applicable legislation, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
22. The Promoter or Supplier will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize except for any liability, which cannot be excluded by law.
23. The Promoter or Supplier will not be responsible for any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of or in connection with this promotion if the deficiency is occasioned by any cause outside the reasonable control of the Promoter and Supplier including without limitation technical malfunctions or failures.
24. Tax implications may arise from the receipt or use of a prize. Independent financial advice should be sought. It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
25. The prize, or any unused portion of this prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
26. If the winner of the prize is under the age of 18 years, the prize will be awarded to the winner’s nominated parent or guardian. The parent or guardian must be over the age of 18 years.
27. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason a winner does not redeem an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter and Supplier, then the prize or that element of the prize will be forfeited.
28. If the prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Supplier, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
29. The Promoter may conduct such further draws at the same place as the original draw in order to distribute the prize if it remains unclaimed by the date, subject however to any written directions given by a regulatory authority.
30. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the control of the Promoter or Supplier, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
31. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, The Promoter and Supplier (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability including negligence, for any personal injury; or loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s and Supplier’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not their receipt by the Promoter or Supplier) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and Supplier; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Conditions of Entry; (e) any tax liability incurred by winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
32. The Promoter and Supplier collect personal information in order to conduct the Promotion. Entry is conditional on providing this information. Unless otherwise advised, the Promoter and Supplier may also use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes, including sending electronic message and telephoning the entrant, for an indefinite period. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
33. Entrants consent to the Promoter and Supplier using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for any unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed, and/or supplied by the Promoter and Supplier.
