WHO CAN ENTER?

Entry is open to residents of Australia aged 18 years and over. Employees of the Promoter, associated agencies and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
Only one entry per person will be permitted.
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The promotion commences on 25th May 2016 and closes at 11:59pm (AEST) on 25th June 2016. The judging will be done by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The judging will take place at Bauer Media, 54 Park Street, Sydney NSW 2000 and will begin on 13th July 2016. The winner will be notified by telephone and in writing using the contact details given in their entry.
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter, individuals must log onto www.gourmettraveller.com.au and follow the prompts to the competition page and submit their vote for their favourite hotel in each of the following categories:
•             Best City Hotel
•             Best Regional Hotel
•             Best Hotel Pool
•             Best Hotel Breakfast
•             Best Hotel Service
and complete the entry form including their full name, mailing address, daytime telephone number, current email address and answer to the competition question in 25 words or less "What would you take on a trip to LA and why?" and submit the entry as instructed.
This is a game of skill, chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged based on its literary and creative merit of the answer to the question provided and suitability to the promotion. The judges’ decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.
PRIZE:
The best (1) valid entry as determined by the judges will be deemed the major prize winner and will win:
•             Two (2) x adult return Economy class flights to Los Angeles (LAX) valued at up to at A$4,000 (depending on point of departure, all taxes included).
•             One (1) x Mr & Mrs Smith Voucher for accommodation in Los Angeles only for two (2) adults at any of the participating hotels on the Mr & Mrs Smith website (https://www.mrandmrssmith.com) valued at AU$2,000
The Total prize pool is valued at up to $6,000 (depending on point of departure, including taxes). Any ancillary costs associated with redeeming the prize are not included. These are the responsibility of the winner.
The prize must be redeemed in full and as a package between the following months: 1st October 2016 to 30th November 2016 or 1st February 2017 to 30th May 2017 only. Redemption of prize is subject to availability at time of booking. Blackout periods will apply including US holiday periods including but not limited to Thanks Giving and Halloween, Easter and Australian school holiday periods. Prize is a single event holiday and cannot be separated into different holiday vacations.
