Conditions of entry
Information on how to enter and prizes forms part of these conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed to be an acceptance of these conditions.

Entry is open to Australian residents 18 years and over who are flybuys members and join the flybuys Steps to Savings program.
The Promoter and its agencies associated with this competition and their immediate families are ineligible to enter.
The Promotion Period of the competition commences at 00.01am (AEST) on 14/09/2016 and closes at 11.59pm on 30/11/2016.
This is a game of skill. In order to determine the ranking of entries, eligible members will be ranked from highest to lowest firstly by the number of steps they have synced and recorded (excluding steps manually uploaded by the member) during the Promotion Period; and in the case of a tie, the member to achieve the highest amount of steps in the first week will be deemed the winner.
Winning entries will be determined on 14/12/16 at 12pm. The winner of the Major Prize will be notified within 7 days in writing by email or letter sent to their nominated address and/or email address attached to their flybuys membership. Winners of minor prizes will be published online at 16/12/16 and bonus flybuys points will be loaded onto their account within 7 days of being determined.
The prizes consist of one Major Prize and 2,000 Minor Prizes with a total prize value of up to $21,000.
Major Prize: There is one major prize valued at up to $11,000 (depending on the point of departure) and includes:
4 x return adult economy class flights from your nearest Australian capital city to Honolulu, and;
5 nights’ accommodation for 4 people at the 4 star Ala Moana Hotel by Mantra in Honolulu, and;
6 days car hire Driver must be aged 25 years or over and must be an Australian resident. Jeep Wrangler or similar will be provided. Pick up and drop off at Honolulu airport
Minor Prize: There are 2,000 minor prizes of 1,000 flybuys bonus points valued at $10,000.
Major Prize conditions:
flybuys travel will arrange for flights from your nearest Australian capital city to connect as best as possible with the Hawaiian Airlines flight to Honolulu.
The Major Prize Winner and their guests must travel together and share the same itinerary.
The Major Prize is non-transferable/non-exchangeable/non-replaceable/non-upgradeable/non-Changeable and subject to availability.
If the Major Prize Winner or any guest is unable to utilise the Major Prize, no cash alternative will be provided.
Booking must be made before 31 January 2017 or the Major Prize will be forfeited and awarded to the member with the next best ranked step count. We recommend that you make your reservation as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Seats and accommodation are subject to availability at the time of booking. All travel must be completed by 30 September 2017. Further fare rules and supplier conditions may apply.
The Major Prize Winner and their guests are responsible for all other expenses associated with redeeming the Major Prize (including but not limited to food, travel, flights, transfers, accommodation other than as provided for under these Terms). Travel insurance, passports, visas, spending money, and any other incidental costs and expenses shall be borne by and are the responsibility of the Major Prize winner and their guests.
Tickets are only valid for the date or period specified on the tickets or by flybuys travel, and are subject to any terms and conditions imposed by the provider. Once dispatched, the Promoter is not liable for any ticket that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.
Hawaiian Airlines has advised there will be very limited availability during school holidays and peak periods including 9 Dec 16 - 29 Jan 17; 23 Mar - 17 Apr 17; 1-16 Jul 17; 23 – 30 Sep 17 and travel within these dates may incur a surcharge payable by the Major Prize winner and their Guests.
Minor Prize conditions:
Prize value includes GST where applicable. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Value of the prizes is shown as a guide only and was correct at time of publishing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. Should the prizes specified be unavailable or superseded, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of a similar type and value at its sole discretion.
To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss or damage that is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of entering this Promotion, or receiving, accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter is not liable for any delays in the processing of information or for late, lost or misallocated entries. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, including but not limited to reasons due to computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter may in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant for failing to sync their eligible activity tracker less than every 7 days during the Promotion Period, for tampering with the entry process, submitting an entry which is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry, or for engaging in any unlawful, fraudulent or other improper conduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender will not be affected by the disqualification.
The Promoter collects personal information about entrants to include entrants in the promotion and where appropriate, award prizes. If any information requested by the Promoter is not provided, the entrant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, each entrant agrees that the Promoter may publish any winner’s name and locality online at flybuys.com.au. A request to access, update or correct any personal information should be directed to the Promoter by calling the flybuys Service Centre on 13 11 16
