When does the competition close?The competition commences on Wednesday, 8 January 2025, at 8:00 am and closes on Friday, 14 February 2025, at 5:00 pm. The Promoter may extend the competition period at its discretion.
How can one enter the competition?Participants must be Queensland residents and enter the competition by subscribing to the Goros email database through an online form available at https://www.gorosbrisbane.com.au/ during the competition period.
What are the prizes?The first correct and eligible entry drawn will win a trip to Japan valued at $7,400 for two people. The prize package includes:
- Return economy airfares for two people from Brisbane, QLD to Tokyo, Japan.
- Four nights' accommodation in a minimum three-star property in Tokyo (twin/double share).
- Three nights' accommodation in a minimum three-star property in Kyoto (twin/double share).
- Return train transfers for two people between Tokyo and Kyoto on the Shinkansen.
- A guided tour of the Asahi Brewery for two people, including seasonal snacks and beer tasting (winner must provide their own headphones for translation).

When will the winner be announced?150 semi-finalists will be invited to the grand opening of Goros Brisbane on Friday, 21 February 2025, where the winner will be randomly drawn and announced. The winner will also be publicly announced on the Goros Brisbane website and Instagram on Monday, 24 February 2025.
How will the winner be contacted?The winner will be contacted via email by Liquidity by 1 March 2025 to organize their prize.
Are there any restrictions on the prize?The prize is non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and must be booked by 1 May 2025, with all travel completed by 31 July 2025. The winner must confirm their identity with photo identification when collecting the prize. Frequent flyer mileage accumulation is not permitted, and blackout dates apply from 28 June to 13 July 2025.
