Information on how to enter and prize forms part of the Terms and Conditions. Entry into this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to residents of Australia between the period of 1st July 2015 and 31 January 2016. Judging will be complete on 28th February, 2016. Prizes awarded on 31st March, 2016.
The judges' decision(s) will be final
The judges have absolute discretion as to the process for assessment of applications and judging. The judges are not required to give reasons for their decision(s). The judges may decide not to select a winner in any one or more categories.
Not all judges will devote equal time to each entry.
The applicant will remain the owner of the entered product. It will be returned to the applicant within a reasonable time after the competition concludes and in some cases after post-competition publicity is completed. It will not be used by Honda for any purpose other than the competition. Reasonable care will be taken but no responsibility is accepted for loss of or damage to the product.
No assistance will be provided by Honda to any applicant, other than supply on request of one Honda engine at concessional price equal to OEM price for R&D purposes (available to all applicants). In particular Honda is not responsible for any costs incurred by any applicant.
No late applications can be accepted. A product cannot be amended or modified after application, but it may be withdrawn and replaced by a fresh application and product before the time for applications closes.
Any attempt, by or on behalf of an applicant, to contact one or more of the judges regarding the competition*, could result in the applicant and application being disqualified. Strict compliance with the Rules of the Competition is required. "Non-complying" applications will not be considered.
Criteria and Judging Criteria (above) define the scope of the competition and have the status of rules.
Prize value(s) are correct at time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.
Prize cannot be redeemed for cash. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed as cash. The prize is not valid in conjunction with any other offer. The prize is valued in Australian dollars. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value.

Employees, and their immediate families, of the Promoter, Honda Australia Motorcycle and Power Equipment Pty Ltd are not eligible to enter this competition. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, defacto spouse, child or step child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step parent, grandparent, step grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step brother, step sister or 1st cousin.
In participating in the competition, the winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winner agrees to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive license to use such content and photographs on Honda online social networking sites, websites and the Honda Merchandise Online Store http://merchandise.hondampe.com.au, and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (Non-Excludable Guarantees). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the competition.

If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the competition, as appropriate.
By accepting entry into this competition, entrants consent to the personal information they submit being entered into the marketing database. The Promoter may for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
