When does the competition close?The competition commences at 12:00am on 28 August 2024 and closes at 11:59pm on 16 December 2024 AEDT.
How can one enter the competition?To enter, participants must:
1. Purchase a New Eligible Shannons Motor Insurance Policy (excluding CTP insurance) or add a new risk to an existing Shannons Motor Insurance Policy. Each new risk earns 10 entries.
2. Purchase a New Eligible Shannons Home & Contents Insurance Policy (including building only, contents only, or building and contents cover). Each new risk earns 5 entries.
3. Existing customers with active Shannons Motor Insurance or Home & Contents Insurance policies will automatically receive 1 entry for each risk insured if the policy was active before the competition start date and remains active and fully paid at the end of the entry period.
All entries must comply with these conditions and be received by the Promoter during the Entry Period.
What are the prizes won?The prize includes a luxury trip for two adults to Germany and Belgium in June-July 2025, valued at up to AUD $88,995.25, including:
- 2 premium economy class airfares from the winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Munich, Germany, and returning from Frankfurt, Germany.
- 13 days of car hire of a Mercedes-Benz C-Class or similar.
- 3 nights’ accommodation in Munich, including breakfast and car parking, with guided tours to the BMW Museum.
- 2 nights’ accommodation in Stuttgart, including guided tours to the Mercedes-Benz Museum and the Porsche Museum.
- 2 nights’ accommodation in Nürburg with VIP experience at Nürburgring, including a taxi lap around the Nordschleife in a Porsche GT3 RS 992.
- 3 nights’ accommodation in Spa, Belgium, with VIP Hospitality tickets to the Fanatec GT World Challenge at the Crowdstrike 24 Hours of Spa.
- 2 nights’ accommodation in Frankfurt.
- $5,000 AUD spending money, with an additional $5,000 AUD if the winner is a Shannons Club member.
- A new MY25 Scout 101 Indian Motorcycle, including 12 months’ registration, CTP insurance, and Shannons comprehensive motorcycle insurance.
What is the total prize pool amount?The total prize pool is valued at up to AUD $88,995.25, including GST. This amount is based on the recommended retail value as of 28 June 2024 and varies depending on the winner’s location and the cost of the motorcycle.
Additional InformationThe winner will be drawn randomly on 16 January 2025 at Engage Interactive, NSW, and notified within two business days by phone and email. The winner's name will be published on the competition website and in The Australian newspaper on 22 January 2025. If the prize is unclaimed by 1 April 2025, a redraw will occur on 2 April 2025. The winner must comply with all travel, insurance, and event terms and conditions. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash except at the Promoter's discretion.
