Win a trip to the Sunshine Coast

1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
WHO CAN ENTER
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to Australian residents over the age of 18 years within the specified time period.
2.2. Employees, franchisees and their immediate families of We Are Explorers and Visit Sunshine Coast (“the Promoters”), or any related agencies, are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether by natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, or step-sister.
HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on the 22/02/2021 at 10:00AM AEST and closes 22/03/2021 at 11:59PM AEST (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, the entrants must complete the entry form by providing the entrant’s full name, email address, uploading an image and copy of their “For Real” memory.
3.3 In order to enter, the entrants must agree that their entry may be used by the Promoters for promotional purposes. Images uploaded as part of an entry will be licensed to the Promoters under the following usage rights;

3.3 In order to enter, the entrants must agree to receive email marketing communications from the Promoters which may be unsubscribed at any point.
3.4 In order to enter, the entrants agree that if they’re chosen as the winner they will carry out the following obligations;
The winner agrees to write a playground editorial piece (1000 – 1500 words) to be published on We Are Explorers.
The winner must capture a selection of at least thirty images whilst on their Visit Sunshine Coast For Real trip
The winner agrees to stick to the post production schedule set by We Are Explorers
The winner agrees that they will licence at least twenty images from the trip to The Promoters under the following usage rights;

The winner agrees to provide any further documents we may reasonably require to carry out the Visit Sunshine Coast For Real Competition
The winner agrees and understands that as part of the prize, the winner and their nominated guests agree to have images and footage taken of them whilst on their Visit Sunshine Coast For Real trip and published on the Promoter’s channels.
3.5 Entrants may only enter once.

4.1 One winner will be chosen based on their ability to capture and communicate a For Real memory as decided by the Promoters at their absolute discretion;
Prize for four people;

Five nights in a two-bed ocean view villa at the Point Coolum: $1200
Noosa Everglades self-guided adventure with Kanu Kapers (unguided): $396
Mudjimba snorkel trip with Sunreef: $356
Treetop Challenge experience: $240
Noosa Dolphin View Kayak Tour & Great Beach Drive Adventure – Day Tour with Epic Ocean Adventures: $556
Caloundra Jetski half day adventure with stop at Vatahappie for a meal (two shared jet skis): $860
Four-day car hire: $500
Dining vouchers to the value of $800 at different locations:

Total prize value up to $6308
4.2 Prize cannot be exchanged or refunded in any way by the winner.
4.3 Prize is valid for redemption until 31 March 2022 and cannot be redeemed during school holidays as determined by the Promoters.
4.4 If the winner is unable to depart from Melbourne or Sydney, the flight component of the prize will be omitted and the funds will not be reallocated to additional experiences or provided to the winner in any way. In this scenario, the winner and their guests must make their own way at their own cost to the Sunshine Coast.
UNCLAIMED PRIZE
Any prizes that remain unclaimed for 1 month after the end of the promotion period will be awarded to another entrant as determined by the Promoters. The pool will be made up of runner up entrants as determined by the Promoters.
If required, this will occur on 20/04/2021.
SELECTION OF PRIZE WINNERS
5.1 Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with Clause 3 will be entered into the prize pool.
5.2 The winner will be selected by the Promoters on the 24/03/2021 at 11:00AM AEST at We Are Explorers’ Premises at 6-8 Burringbar St, Mullumbimby NSW 2481.
5.3 The winner of the competition, as determined by the Promoters, agrees to a screening interview with We Are Explorers if deemed necessary by the Promoters.
5.4 The winner will be notified by email and will be announced on We Are Explorers social media platforms from 24/03/2021 for 28 days. The winner may also be published on www.weareexplorers.co and Visit Sunshine Coast digital platforms.
5.5 The Promoter’s decision is final.
NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoters may in their absolute discretion cancel the competition or other as subject to any State Legislation.
6.2 The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 The Promoters and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
6.3.1 during the draw;
6.3.2 Whilst undertaking any travel won connected with their entry into the draw; or
6.3.3 in the participation in any prize
6.3.4 as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
6.3.5 due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
6.3.6 due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s reasonable control.
6.4 The Promoters and its affiliates assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of, entries, and reserve the right to take any action that may be available.
6.5 If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of being conducted as planned, including, but not limited, due to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter’s which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter’s reserve the right, at their discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or any other dishonest act, may take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to State legislation.
