Mechanics
• A participant will be required to access the Ultrabook: Convertible Challenge Contest, which is on a Facebook Tab on the Intel Australia Facebook page and The Good Guys Australia Facebook page in order to participate in this Contest. (Access is also available via mobile.)
• From the Ultrabook: Convertible Challenge Contest webpage, a participant can either enter the Contest or select the link to find out more about Ultrabook Convertibles, which is an external link to a page on The Good Guys website
• In order to enter the Contest, a participant will be required to enter the following details on the Ultrabook: Convertible Challenge Contest webpage:
• Product Item 1 (REQUIRED) (i.e. first item to be combined)
• Product Item 2 (REQUIRED) (i.e. second item to be combined with first item)
• Box selection option (OPTIONAL)
• First name (REQUIRED)
• Surname (REQUIRED)
• Email (REQUIRED)
• Mobile (OPTIONAL)
Prizes:
1) First Place: There shall be one first prize only. The best idea submitted for the Contest, as determined by Intel in its sole discretion, will win the first prize. The first prize comprise of a prototype of the idea submitted (subject to the maximum costs of AUD$25,000 to construct the prototype) and an Asus Taichi Ultrabook Convertible with an Intel Core i5 processor valued at $1,599^ AUD.
2) Runners Up: There shall be three runner-up prizes. The three runner-ups shall be selected based on the ideas that receive the top three most number of votes over the three week Contest period. The three runners up will receive the following prizes:
• First Runner Up: Asus Taichi Ultrabook Convertible with an Intel Core i5 processor valued at $1,599^ AUD.
• Second Runner Up: Samsung XE700 Ultrabook Convertible with an Intel Core i5 processor valued at $1,299^ AUD.
• Third Runner Up: Toshiba U920T Ultrabook Convertible with an Intel Core i5 processor valued at $1,399^ AUD.
3) Weekly Winners: There shall be three weekly winners – one for each week of the Contest period. At the end of each week of the Contest period, the best idea submitted for that week, as determined by Intel in its sole discretion, will win the weekly prize. A weekly winner will not be eligible to win the first place prize. The three weekly winners will receive the following prizes:
• Week 1: Asus Taichi Ultrabook Convertible with an Intel Core i5 processor valued at $1,599^ AUD.
• Week 3: Samsung XE700 Ultrabook Convertible with an Intel Core i5 processor valued at $1,299^ AUD.
• Week 3: Toshiba U920T Ultrabook Convertible with an Intel Core i5 processor valued at $1,399^ AUD.
4) Daily Winners: There will be a daily winner each day. Each daily winner shall be selected based on the ideas that receive the top votes for the day throughout the Contest period. Their prize will be having their idea drawn as an illustration of what their idea might look like.

• Submit their entry
• Once the participant’s entry has been submitted, a Thank You for Entering page will appear with an option to “Share” your entry. Any sharing will use the Facebook share functionality.
• Once the participant’s entry has been submitted, an automated email will be submitted to a moderator who will accept the entry or reject the entry based on whether the entry complies with the Terms and Conditions.
• Once the entry has been approved it will appear in the Gallery of the Ultrabook Convertible Challenge Contest webpage.
• Once the participant’s entry appears in the Gallery, any user can “vote” on this invention item once only.
• If the participant’s entry is rejected, an email will be sent on behalf of Intel to the participant informing so If he/she remains interested to participate, he/she will need to go back to the Ultrabook Convertible Challenge Contest webpage and re-submit his/her entry.
• A participant is able to vote on any invention item only once
• A participant is able to enter multiple entries.
