WHO CAN ENTER?

The Competition is open to legal residents of Australia who are over 18 years of age as of the date of entry. Employees of the Organiser and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, advertising and competition agencies, as well as the immediate family (spouse, parents, siblings and children and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and household members of any such employees, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. Entrants must also have a pre-existing Facebook or Instagram account. When capturing an image of their finished project entrants must have the hashtag #BrotherInspires either handwritten and placed by the project or embedded in the image for it to be deemed eligible - the #BrotherInspires hashtag needs to be in the image and also in the caption as a means of identifying entries on Instagram. If entrants submit an entry via Instagram they must also include the hashtag #BrotherInspires in their post. All entries, including those uploaded via Instagram, must be lodged on the competition app found on the Organiser's Facebook page (at www.facebook.com/BrotherAustralia).
PROMOTIONAL PERIOD:
The Competition begins on 13th April 2015 at 2:00PM and ends on 11th May 2015 at 2:00PM (the “Competition Period”) Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST). The Organiser’s computer will be the official time-keeping device for this Competition.
HOW TO ENTER:
to win the grand prize:
4.1. The Organiser will provide a series of creative projects with instructions, which will be made available on the Brother website and marked with an icon featuring the letter “I” for inspiration (http://brother.com.au/our-technology/projects.html). During the Competition Period, entrants must create a project that has similarity to the original creation on Brother’s projects page OR is a new unique project. This project should be made for the entrant’s sewing space/creative studio. Entrants will then capture an image of their creation and upload it either on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #Brotherinspires embedded in the image (“Entry”) – this cannot be placed on the image after it has been taken. The hashtag must be alongside or on the finished project at the time it’s being captured. The organiser has full discretion to determine the eligibility of entries received. All eligible entrants (as specified in section 6) will be sent a copy of the Brother ScanNCut Project and Idea Book. Each entry must comply with Clause 6. Entrants can upload their Entry by either of the following methods:
By Facebook:
· Visiting www.facebook.com/BrotherAustralia and then clicking on the competition App on the page;
· Submitting the Entry and filling out the entry form
By Instagram:
· Logging into their Instagram account, and then
· Posting an image of their Entry to their Instagram account, so that it can be viewed by the public, using the hashtag #BrotherInspires in their post; and then
· Accessing the link that will be generated as an automated response in the comments section of their Instagram image, and using it to complete the entry form on the competition app on the Organiser's Facebook page (at www.facebook.com/BrotherAustralia).
5. HOW TO ENTER to win the runner up prize:
5.1. Entrants must create a project that has similarity to the original creation on Brother’s projects page OR is a new unique project. This project should be made for the entrant’s sewing space/creative studio. During the Competition Period, entrants must provide a work in progress photo, i.e. of an unfinished creation, with the hashtag #BrotherInspires and #BrotherInspiersWIP. They must submit both an image and descriptive text about the work in progress project with the two hashtags. Each entry must comply with Clause 6. Entrants can upload their Entry by either of the following methods:
By Facebook:
· Visiting www.facebook.com/BrotherAustralia and then clicking on the competition App on the page; and then
· Submitting the Entry and filling out the entry form
By Instagram:
· Logging into their Instagram account; and then
· Posting an image of their Entry to their Instagram account, so that it can be viewed by the public, using the hashtag #BrotherInspires and #BrotherInspiresWIP in their post; and then
· Accessing the link that will be generated as an automated response in the comments section of their Instagram image, and using it to complete the entry form on the competition app on the Organiser's Facebook page (at www.facebook.com/BrotherAustralia).
PRIZES:
There will be one (1) Grand Prize Winner. The Grand prize will include:
· 1 x NV1800Q RRP $1,799
· 1 x ScanNCut CM550DX RRP $699
· Up to $3,000 in sewing accessories and furniture to be purchased by the stylist to decorate the winners Craft or Sewing Studio
· Up to $7,000 in styling and decorating services with Briar Stanley. Briar will work with the winner to create the perfect Craft Studio, this will include:
• Consultation – assess the room and chat with the winner to understand what inspires them
• Plan – provide the winner with a presentation of the suggested space, based on the discussion. This will include furniture and d�cor suggestions mocked-up for final approval
• Process – Briar and the winner will shop for the larger furniture items to help pull the room together
• Completion – Briar will work with the winner to style the Craft Studio and complete the space
Total Grand Prize value is $12,498.
There will be two (2) Runners-Up. The Runner-up Prize:
· 1 x ScanNCut CM550DX RRP $699. One for each winner.
