Fashion history buffs and resort-wear enthusiasts, we’ve got news for you! If you’ve been missing the days of Easton Pearson’s iconic collections then you’re in luck. Thanks to the generous support of Brisbane-based philanthropist and contemporary art and design patron Dr Paul Eliadis, some of the design duo’s most visionary pieces have been brought to the Museum of Brisbane for you to explore. Delve deep into the vibrant archives of Pamela Easton and Lydia Pearson’s 28-year partnership at The Designers’ Guide: Easton Pearson Archive and marvel at each exquisite garment. Bringing together interviews, look books, sketches and range plans, the exhibition is set up to give you a Project Runway-style insight into the design process, techniques and setbacks behind the scenes. It’s easy to see just how much the label forever changed the face of Australian fashion when you’re looking at the 200 incredibly unique pieces in the exhibition collection alone.
To celebrate the kaleidoscopic journey of Easton Pearson and the exhibition that documents it, we’re giving you the chance to win a unique Easton Pearson hamper! Thanks to our partner Museum of Brisbane, the lucky winner will receive two signature archival pieces, including a tote bag and necklace, as well as the The Designers’ Guide: Easton Pearson Archive catalogue and a double season pass to the exhibition.
