Margaret River Gourmet Escape Competition
Information on how to enter this competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Competition period:
The competition commences on 18 August 2018 and closes at 11:59pm on 17 October 2018. All references to times are to Queensland time.
How to enter:
There is no charge for entering this competition and no purchase is necessary to enter or redeem prizes.
To enter the competition, Entrants must go to the competition website via the URL www.winamegaholiday.com.au and follow the prompts to register their details including first name, surname, telephone numbers and email address. To enter the competition Entrants must also complete a short survey to gather demographic, lifestyle and product-related information relating to a varying range of goods and services.
All Entrants who register their details and complete the survey during the competition will receive one entry in the draw to win the Major Prizes provided. See Prize Details below for details of the prizes provided in this competition.
Entrants will have the opportunity to receive additional entries by sending information about the competition to their friends using the functionality provided on the website. For each friend Entrants refers who enters the contest the Entrant will receive one further entry in the competition.
Eligibility:
Entrants must be 21 years of age or over and an Australian or New Zealand resident to be eligible to enter this competition.
Entrants are not eligible to enter this competition if they are an employee, or an immediate family member of the Promoter, Our Vacation Centre or any Designated Promotional Partner, their affiliated companies or their related bodies corporate (as defined in the Corporations Act). For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions the Designated Promotional Partner is the entity, contracted with the Promoter as a Promotional Partner, and provided with a unique website URL for the purpose of this competition through which the Entrant participates in this competition.

The winner of the Major Prize will receive the following Fly and Stay Package for 2 adults to use between 16 November 2018 to 19 November, 2018, including:

Accommodations and activities are subject to the Terms and Conditions set by Stay Margaret River hotel, restaurants, car rental operator and the travel agent Our Vacation Centre. Airfares are subject to Virgin Australia’s flight schedules and conditions. See the end of these Terms and Conditions for Our Vacation Centre’s General Terms and Conditions for Travel Bookings.
The prize winner must confirm with the Promoter that they can travel on the dates stipulated for the Fly Stay package prize by 25 October 2018 to allow time for the Promoter to arrange the booking of the Winner’s prize. The prize does not include pre or post hotels or transfers, insurance, flights or any additional expenditure not specifically mentioned in the Competition Terms and Conditions.
If the prize winner is unable to travel on the specified dates to use the prize, the prize winner may redeem the prize for a $2,000 travel voucher from the Promoter’s travel agent, Our Vacation Centre.
The actual odds of winning the major prize draw will depend on the number of Entrants in the competition for the major prize draw.
The Major Prize is transferable but may not be redeemed for cash except for as provided in these Details of Participation.
The total prize pool is a minimum of AUD$2,000 and a maximum of AUD$2,218 (where there is a choice of prizes, the highest value is adopted).
Draw information:
The draw for the major prize will take place at the offices of the Promoter at 58 Kingston Drive, Gaven, Queensland 4212 at 12 pm on 19 October 2018 via a random manual drawing process. The Winner will be notified by telephone within 24 hours of the draw and in writing and the winner will be published on www.cruisemegastore.com.au and www.discover365.com.au within 7 days after notifying the winner of the major prize draw.
If the Major Prize is unclaimed, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at 12pm at 58 Kingston Drive, Gaven, QLD, 4212 30 days after the original draw date. As the commencement dates for the major prize would have passed by that time, if an unclaimed prize draw is needed the Winner will receive an Our Vacation Centre voucher for travel to the value of AUD$2,000 in lieu, and the Winner of any unclaimed prize draw will be notified by telephone within 24 hours of the draw and in writing and the winner will be published on www.cruisemegastore.com.au and www.discover365.com.au within 7 days after notifying the winner.
General provisions:
The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of the claims and to disqualify any Entrant who tampers with the entry process, submits a claim that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, or who abuses the bonus entry option by forwarding competition referrals contrary to anti-spam guidelines on the competition website.
The Promoter reserves the right to resolve any and all discrepancies, disputes or unforeseen circumstances as it deems fit subject to relevant State legislation, and State permit regulations. The Promoters decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Neither the Promoter nor any of its agents are responsible for lost, late, delayed, damaged, misdirected, incomplete, ineligible or incorrectly submitted entries.
If for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this promotion, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, subject to any direction given under the relevant State legislation, and State permit regulations.
The Promoter and Designated Promotional Partners shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever that is suffered by any Entrant or Winner, including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss, or for any personal injury suffered or sustained as a result of participating in this competition or taking any prize, save where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or otherwise associated with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google or any other social media site or any of their affiliates, and each entrant or participant completely releases, to the full extent permitted by law, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google or any other social media site or any of their affiliates from all liability related to this competition. Participants and entrants should direct all questions and comments regarding this competition to the Promoter and not to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google or any other social media site or any of their affiliates.
Privacy:
The information on the entry form is being collected by the Promoter and Designated Promotional Partners for the purposes of the advertised competition and utilisation by the Promoter and Designated Promotional Partners for marketing and promotion of their respective goods and services via email, phone or mail. The Promoter and Designated Promotional Partners may also disclose information collected from entry forms to its related entities, affiliated suppliers or contracted third parties for their marketing purposes.
All Winners details will be disclosed to the parties with whom the Promoter has contracted to provide the advertised prize. It is a condition of entry that prize Winners agree to provide at least two photos and/or videos of them and/or whilst on their prize holiday and agree that the Promoter and/or Designated Promotional Partners may publish such photograph in marketing, publicity and promotional material without any further payment or compensation to the Winner.
All Entrants give the Promoter and Designated Promotional Partners their express and indefinite consent to contact them by telephone, SMS text messaging or email for promotional purposes. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting the Promoter in writing. A copy of the Promoter’s Privacy Policy is available online or by contacting the Promoter in writing.
