When does the promotion close?The promotional period starts on 06/01/25 at 12:01 am AEST and ends on 02/02/25 at 11:59 pm AEST.
How can one enter the giveaway?There are two methods of entry:
1. In-Restaurant Purchase: Make a purchase of $30 or more at any participating Guzman y Gomez restaurant in Australia and scan your GOMEX Rewards barcode with your registered GOMEX account at the time of purchase.
2. App Purchase: Log into the GYG App or visit https://order.guzmanygomez.com.au/, sign in to your GOMEX account, and submit an order for pick-up at a participating Guzman y Gomez restaurant during the promotion dates.
Multiple entries are allowed through multiple purchases while logged into your GOMEX Rewards account, with one entry per transaction.
What are the prizes and total prize pool?There are a total of 75 prizes across the promotional period, with a total prize pool of $1,402. The prizes are distributed weekly as follows:
- Week One (06/01/2025 to 12/01/2025): Win 1 of 10 GYG Beach Towels.
- Week Two (13/01/2025 to 19/01/2025): Win 1 of 30 GYG Bucket Hats.
- Week Three (20/01/2025 to 26/01/2025): Win 1 of 30 GYG Tote Bags.
- Week Four (27/01/2025 to 02/02/2025): Win 1 of 5 GYG Skateboards.
How will the winners be selected?Winners will be chosen via a computerized random selection on 10/02/2025, with users only eligible to win prizes from the week of their entry.
How will winners be notified?Winners will be contacted via email and/or phone within seven days of each weekly draw and will also be published on the Guzman y Gomez website within the same timeframe.
What happens if a prize goes unclaimed?Prizes must be claimed by 28/02/25 at 12:00 pm AEDT. Unclaimed prizes will be redrawn on 01/03/25 at 12:00 pm AEDT, with winners notified via email and phone within seven days of the redraw.
Are there any eligibility restrictions?Employees and their immediate family members of Guzman y Gomez restaurants, agencies directly associated with the promotion, and other related businesses are not eligible to enter.
Is there any cost to enter the promotion?No entry fee is charged by the Promoter to enter the promotion, but entrants must make a qualifying purchase.
What is the privacy policy regarding personal information?Entrants' personal information will be collected and stored by the Promoter for participation in the giveaway and may be used for future marketing. The Promoter is bound by Australian Privacy Principles in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Are there any conditions regarding the prize?Prizes cannot be exchanged, redeemed for cash, or transferred unless specified. The winner may be required to sign a legal release before receiving the prize.
