Terms and Conditions
Introduction
1. By entering the Paramount Pictures Australia Allied Cartier Necklace Competition you are
agreeing to the following terms and conditions (Terms and Conditions).
2. Information on how to enter the Competition forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry
into the Competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
3. The Promoter is Paramount Pictures Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 008 573 171) of Level 1, 65
Pirrama Road, Pyrmont, New South Wales, 2009, Australia (Promoter).
Competition Period
4. The Competition commences at 11:45am Monday 19, December 2016 (AEDT) and ends at
4:00pm Wednesday 4 January 2017 (AEDT) (Competition Period). Any entry received
outside of the Competition Period will be deemed invalid.
Entry Details and Entry Restrictions
5. The Competition commences when the Promoter posts on Facebook at
https://www.facebook.com/ParamountAU that opens the Competition (Competition Post).
6. To enter the Competition, entrants must visit https://www.facebook.com/ParamountAU and
submit an Eligible Entry within the Competition Period. To be an Eligible Entry, the entry must
be a comment which:
(a) is a reply to the initial Competition Post, within that Post’s comments section;
(b) is an answer in 25 words or less to the question “tag a special someone and tell us in
15 words or less why they are your unbreakable love.”;
(c) explanation of why is in English; and
(d) otherwise complies with these Terms and Conditions.
7. Entry to the Competition is open to all residents of Australia who:
(a) have a valid email address;
(b) have a residential address in Australia;
(c) have internet access;
(d) have a valid, registered Facebook account; and
8. Employees, directors, management and their immediate families of the Promoter and any
agencies, retailers and suppliers directly associated with the Competition are not eligible to
enter this Competition.
9. Any entries which contain content that is unlawful, fraudulent, breaches intellectual property,
privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually
inappropriate, violent, indecent, profane, abusive, harassing, threatening, and/or objectionable
with respect to race, religion, origin or gender will be removed by the Promoter and will be
deemed invalid.

10. Each entrant may only use one Facebook account to enter the Competition. Any entrant
found using multiple Facebook accounts to enter will be disqualified from participation in the
Competition.
11. Each entrant may only submit one Eligible Entry to the Competition. Where multiple entries
are submitted, only the first will be accepted and judged by the Promoter.
12. Entrants and entries that do not comply with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified
and will not be considered eligible to take part in the Competition.
Prize and Prize Restrictions
13. The Prize consists of:
- 1 x 18 karat gold necklace from the Cartier Love Collection. RRP AUD$3500
- 2 x in-season double pass to see Allied in selected Australian cinemas. RRP AUD$80
14. If the prize winner is under the age of 18, the prize winner’s must have a parent’s or legal
guardian’s permission to claim the prize and act as the point of contact for organisation of
prize fulfilment.
15. There will be a total of 1 Prize awarded in the Competition. In the event that the Competition
does not elicit a minimum number of at least two Eligible Entries, the Promoter reserves the
right (subject to the requirements of any applicable law) to terminate the Competition without
awarding any Prizes.
16. A maximum limit of one Prize will be awarded to any entrant whose Eligible Entry is selected
as a Prize winner.
17. Prize winners must take the Prize as offered.
18. The total value of this Prize is AUD$3580. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any
variation in the value of the Prizes. All Prize values are expressed in Australian Dollars,
include GST and are correct as at the time of the commencement of the Competition Period.
19. The Promoter reserves the right, subject to any applicable laws, to substitute the Prize with a
Prize of equal or greater value if the Prize is for some reason unavailable.
20. The Promoter is not responsible for any additional costs associated with the use of the Prize.
21. The Promoter is not responsible for any changes in times, dates, cancellations, rescheduling
and/or classification by the Australian Classification Board of films that may prevent the Prize
winners from redeeming their Prize, or part of it.
22. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Judging Details
23. The winners of the Competition will be selected between 10am and 12.30pm on Thursday, 5
January 2017 (AEDT) in the offices of the Promoter at Level 1, 65 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont,
New South Wales, 2009, Australia, by the Promoter in their sole and absolute discretion.
24. The most original and creative Eligible Entries (as judged by the Promoter in their sole and
absolute discretion) will be deemed winners of the Competition and eligible for a Prize. The
Promoter will have absolute discretion in selecting the winners and awarding Prizes in the
Competition. Decisions of the Promoter are final and no correspondence shall be entered into.
25. The Competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.

26. Notwithstanding anything in these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter has absolute
discretion in selecting the winners and awarding Prizes in the Competition.
Winner Notification
27. Unless advised differently by the Promoter, Prize winners will be notified via a Facebook
direct message to the winners’ Facebook account by Monday 9 January, 2017 (AEDT).
28. To claim their Prize, winners must reply to the Promoter’s Facebook direct message by 5pm
Friday 13 January, 2017 (AEDT), to the Promoter sending the direct message and in their
reply providing the information requested by the Promoter to the Promoter’s satisfaction.
29. Where a winner does not respond to the Promoter via a Facebook direct message by the
aforementioned date and time (5pm Friday 13 January, 2017 (AEDT)) to the Promoter to
accept the Prize and provide the information requested by the Promoter to award the Prize,
or otherwise fails to provide information reasonably required to award the Prize, the winners’
entry will be deemed invalid and the Prize will be forfeited. The Promoter is not under any
obligation to award a forfeited Prize to any other entrant.
General
30. All entries and information relating to the Competition remain the property of the Promoter.
31. By entering the Competition, the winners and entrants warrant that:
(a) their entry is their own original work, and to the extent it is not, they have obtained the
relevant permission from the rights holder;
(b) all details provided with their entry are true and accurate;
(c) they have all necessary rights to grant the Promoter the rights granted under these
Terms and Conditions;
(d) use of the entry by the Promoter, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, will
not infringe the rights of any third parties; and
(e) their entry does not breach any law.
32. By entering the Competition, all winners and entrants agree:
(a) that any and all rights in entries submitted to the Competition (including without
limitation, all copyright and trade mark rights in the entries and taglines in the entries)
shall be owned or is hereby assigned to the Promoter or the Promoter’s parent,
associated, affiliated and related bodies corporate, licensees and assignees;
(b) to participate in any news media activities associated with the Competition;
(c) that any entry may be edited or adapted at any time by the Promoter for any reason;
and
(d) to indemnify the Promoter and/or the Promoter’s parent, associated, affiliated and
related bodies corporate, licensees and assignees against any loss or damage
resulting from any breach of the warranties in clause 31 and acknowledge that the
Promoter may, in its absolute discretion, not award a Prize to you for breach of the
warranties above.
33. The Promoter is bound by the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Australian
Privacy Act 1988. In order for the Promoter to conduct the Competition, the Promoter needs
to collect certain personal information about you. The Promoter collects personal information
from you in connection with the Competition. Collection of your personal information usually
occurs if and when we need to contact you as a winner of the Competition. If you are a
winner, we will collect your name, date of birth, postal address and email address. If you do

not provide us with this information you may not be awarded or receive a Prize. The personal
information we collect from you may be disclosed to a third party service provider for delivery
of your Prize. Further information about how the Promoter handles personal information is

34. If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned due to causes including
but not limited to technical failures, unauthorized intervention, fraud or any other causes
beyond the Promoter’s control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness,
integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter is entitled in our sole discretion to
disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and (subject to any written
directions given by any applicable regulatory authority), to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the Competition.
35. In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, disaster or (without limitation) any other
event outside our reasonable control, the Promoter is entitled to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend the Competition - subject to any written directions from any applicable regulatory
authority.
36. The Promoter is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by
you or for any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the Competition,
or for any technical error, or any combination thereof that may occur in the course of the
administration of the Competition including any omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay
in operation or transmission, communications line or telephone, mobile or satellite network
failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alteration of entries.
37. To the full extent permitted by the law, the Promoter will not be liable for any delay, death,
injury, damages, expenses, or loss whatsoever (whether direct or consequential) to persons
or property as a result of any person entering into the Competition or accepting or using any
Prize, including without limitation non-receipt of any Prize or damage to any Prize in transit
and the Prize winner’s failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or by the terms and
conditions (if any) specified by any third party.
38. This Competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with,
Facebook. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding this Competition must be
directed to the Promoter at Level 1, 65 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont, New South Wales 2009,
