Entrants may submit as many entries as they wish however each entry must be submitted via a
separate entry and must independently comply with these Competition Terms of Entry.
For the avoidance of doubt, unless otherwise expressly stated, entrants may only win one (1) Prize each
in the Promotion.
8. Entry Method

Online/App Entry
During the Promotion Period entrants must complete the Online and/or App entry form and register
their details in the manner required via either the Website (Novafm.com.au) or the App (The Nova
Player) via the ‘win’ tab and answer in 25 words or less the question: “Where would you go with your
One Million Qantas Loyalty Points and Why?” and answer “and… who would you take with you?”
At various times during the Promotion Period, the Promoter will:
(a) select up to ten (10) entrants deemed to have submitted the ‘best’ entries (based on the Judging
Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all valid online entries received up
until that stage of the Promotion Period (Selected Entrant);
(b) contact up to ten (10) Selected Entrants by telephone and place them on the standby list for that
day (Standby List).
Appear On Air
At various times during the Promotion Period the Promoter (in their sole and absolute discretion) will:
(a) select up to two (2) Selected Entrants deemed to have submitted the ‘best’ entries (based on
the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) from all Selected Entrants
on the relevant day’s Standby List;
(b) contact the Selected Entrant/s on their Personal Contact Number (in the sole and absolute
discretion of the Promoter); and
(c) invite the Selected Entrant/s to appear in the On Air Challenge (each a Challenger).
For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter will invite two (2) Challengers to appear on air in the On Air
Challenge, using their names as buzzers to determine the order in which they get to answer.
On Air Challenge
At various times during the Promotion Period, for each On Air Challenge:
(a) the Promoter will have a pre-determined answer (Nominated Answer);
(b) the Challenger/s will be given verbal and or audio clues as to what the Nominated Answer is
(without verbally saying the Nominated Answer or any words that the Nominated Answer
includes on air) and will be asked to correctly identify the Nominated Answer within a predetermined time frame (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion);
(c) the first Challenger to buzz in with their name will be able to answer the question first. If the first
Challenger guesses incorrectly or does not give a correct answer within the specified time
period (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion), the remaining
Challenger will be asked to try and answer the question correctly;
(d) whichever Challenger correctly answers within the specified time period (in the Promoter’s
sole and absolute discretion) will be deemed a Finalist and added to the Finalist List;
(e) should the Challenger/s incorrectly answer, or fail to provide an answer within the specified
time period (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) the
Challenger/s will not be deemed a Finalist and/or added to the Finalist List and the Promoter
may invite a new Challenger/s from the relevant Standby List (the Selected Entrant/s deemed
to have submitted the next ‘best’ entry from all Selected Entrants on the relevant day’s
Standby List, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) to participate in the relevant
contesting spot and repeat steps (a)-(e) above;
(f) the Promoter may (in its sole and absolute discretion) provide clues and hints to a Challenger
during a contesting spot however the Promoter is under no obligation to do so.
This process may be repeated until a Selected Entrant successfully participates in the On Air Challenge
and is deemed a Finalist and added to the Finalist List (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and
absolute discretion).
For the avoidance of doubt, an entrant may be deemed a Finalist on Thursday 21 July 2022 and/or
Friday 22 July 2022 prior to the final Prize Announcement to announce the winner of the Prize.
Prize Announcement
After 10:00am AEST Thursday 21 July 2022 and before 10:00pm AEST Friday 22 July 2022 the Judges (in
their sole and absolute discretion) will:
(a) select one (1) Finalist judged to have submitted the ‘best’ entry in their initial online entry
(based on the Judging Criteria, in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) (Selected
Finalist);
(b) contact the Selected Finalist on their nominated Personal Contact Number and invite them to
appear on air in a pre-recorded segment. The pre-recorded segment will air on either
Thursday 21 July 2022 or Friday 22 July 2022 between 7:00pm and 10:00pm local time.
(c) if the Selected Finalist successfully appears on air in a pre-recorded segment for the purpose
of the Promotion (as determined by the Promoter in its sole and absolute discretion) they will
be deemed the Prize winner and awarded the Prize;
(d) if for any reason the Selected Finalist is unable to be contacted or does not appear on air in a
pre-recorded segment for the purpose of the Promotion, the Promoter will select the Finalist
deemed to have submitted the next ‘best’ entry (based on the Judging Criteria, in the
Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) in their initial online entry and repeat the steps
outlined in paragraphs (b)-(c) immediately above;
(e) the Selected Finalist who is awarded the Prize will be asked by a representative of the
Promoter (off air) to provide their contact details for the purposes of awarding the Prize.
For the avoidance of doubt the Selected Finalist must appear on air (in a pre-recorded segment)
during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded the Prize.
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not
mean they have been selected as a Selected Entrant, Selected Finalist or the Prize winner and they
may not be invited to appear on air and/or be awarded the Prize.
For the avoidance of doubt the final Finalist and Prize winner will either air on Thursday 21 July 2022 or
Friday 22 July 2022 at the Promoters sole and absolute discretion, this will be clearly communicated on
air during the promotion by a representative of the Promoter.
9. Entry Restrictions Entrants must be Qantas Frequent Flyer Member
Entrants must be a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program to be eligible to win the
prize and must complete the standard join process including agreeing to the Terms and
Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program (available at Qantas.com/terms).

Personal Contact Number
Each entrant must nominate a personal contact number, either a personal mobile number or home
phone number (and not a business number), to be eligible for a Prize (Personal Contact Number) and
each entrant grants the Promoter the right to call that entrant on their Personal Contact Number live
on-air.
Entrants in the Promotion must be able to receive a phone call from a representative of the Promoter
(on their Personal Contact Number) between the following timeframe (or such other time specified by
the Promoter) and in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Entry Method:
6:50pm AEST Tuesday 14 June 2022 and 10:00pm AEST Friday 22 July 2022
If the entrant does not answer their phone by the time that phone goes to a message bank, the
entrant consents to the Promoter broadcasting that entrant's voicemail message including their full
name and/or business name live on-air. Each entrant warrants that it has obtained all consents from
third parties to broadcast live on-air any information or names (including business names) in the
entrant’s voicemail message.
Each entrant warrants that they have received all consents from third parties that may ordinarily
answer their Personal Contact Number in the entrant's absence to be broadcast live on-air if that third
party answers the relevant phone live on-air. If a third party answers an entrant's Personal Contact
Number, that entrant will not be eligible for a Prize as determined by the Promoter in its absolute and
sole discretion.
If for any reason an entrant is unable to be contacted, or is otherwise unable to, or declines to, appear
on-air, or their phone line drops out or is inaudible, the Promoter (in its sole and absolute discretion)
may replace that entrant by contacting/selecting another entrant and inviting them to appear on-air
or participate in an on-air game or challenge (where applicable). The Promoter will repeat this process
until an entrant is able to be contacted and confirms their eligibility and ability to appear on-air or
participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge (where applicable).
For the avoidance of doubt, if an entrant is spoken to by a representative of the Promoter, it does not
mean they have been selected as an entrant or a winner (where applicable) and they may not be
invited to appear on-air or participate in the relevant on-air game or challenge or be awarded a Prize
(where applicable).
For the avoidance of doubt, (if applicable) entrants must appear on-air (includes appearing on-air in a
pre-recorded segment) during the Promotion Period to be deemed a winner and awarded a Prize.
10. Judging

All valid entries will be individually judged by representatives of the Promoter (Judges) (in the
Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion) by 7:00pm AEDT Thursday 21 July 2022 at the Promoter’s
premises. All valid entries will be judged based on the Judging Criteria.
11. Judging Criteria

All valid entries will be judged (by representatives of the Promoter) on originality, creativity and
suitability or as otherwise specified by the Promoter (in the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
Where entrants are required to participate in a challenge or on-air game (if applicable), the Promoter
may specify the relevant judging criteria prior to or at the time of the challenge or on-air game.

There is one (1) Prize to be won, comprising of:
- One (1) Million Qantas Points to be added to the Prize winner’s Qantas Loyalty Account.
The Prize winner must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member to earn and redeem points. Membership

The Prize winner must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer Member and provide their membership number to
the Promoter at the time of winning in order to redeem the prize.
Qantas Points may take up to 6 weeks to be credited to the winner from the time of winning.

subject to the Qantas Frequent Flyer program Terms and Conditions.
Qantas Points Prize Value
The maximum notional value of the Qantas Points Prize Pool is $41,278 based on a sample of the
Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards that could be obtained by redeeming through the Qantas Frequent
Flyer program. The estimate of maximum national value of each Prize is provided for information
purposes only and will vary depending on whether and how it is redeemed by a Prize Winner through
the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the
maximum notional value of each Prize. The Prize value is in Australian Dollars. For example, 18,000
Qantas Points could be redeemed for a one way Economy Classic Flight Reward from Sydney to Perth
on 11 February 2022 plus AU$44 in applicable taxes, fees and carrier charges, accurate as at 28
September 2021.
The dollar fare for an equivalent commercial, flexible fare totals $787 including taxes, fees and carrier
charges. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the
ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
The estimate of the maximum notional value of the Qantas Points prize is provided for information
purposes only. The maximum notional value of each prize will vary depending on whether and how it is
redeemed by a winner through the Qantas Frequent Flyer program. The Promoters accepts no
responsibility for any variation in the maximum notional value of each prize.
Each Prize is awarded and must be redeemed, in accordance with and subject to the Terms and
Conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer program (Qantas.com/terms), the Qantas Store Terms of Use
(Qantas.com/store), voucher terms and conditions (including expiry rules) if relevant, and any other
terms and conditions disclosed at the time of redemption.
The redemption of each Prize is subject to the availability of Rewards that may be obtained through
the Qantas Frequent Flyer program.
In the event that a Prize is redeemed for Reward travel, the winners should be aware that the number
of Reward flight seats available is limited and availability depends on the flight, date, season and
destination and some flights may not have any Reward seats available. The winners will be responsible
for all applicable taxes, fees and carrier charges of Reward travel or accommodation booked by
redeeming their prize. Taxes, fees and carrier charges vary depending on departure points, routes,
exchange rates and dates of travel, are subject to change without notice and are quoted at the time
of booking. Reward flights must be booked at least 24 hours before scheduled departure (and other
advance booking requirements may apply). Reward travel is subject to the fare rules and the
Conditions of Carriage of the relevant carrier. Compliance with immigration, health or other
government requirements is the responsibility of the winner.
