PROMOTION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Information on how to enter, the prizes and rules for redeeming the prizes form part of the terms and conditions of entry for the Promotion. Participation in the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions (Terms) and any other notices referenced herein.
The Terms include:
the Promotion Specific Terms & Conditions set out in Part A below; and
the General Terms & Conditions set out in Part B below.
In these Terms, the term "you" refers to the any person who enters, or who wishes to enter, the Promotion.
Part A – Promotion Specific Terms & Conditions

A.1 The Promoter The Promoter is Expedia Australia Pty Limited ACN 101 694 946 of Level 18, No. 1 Martin Place Sydney, NSW, Australia 2000. The Sponsor is Expedia, Inc., 333 108th Avenue NE, Bellevue, Washington 98004 USA.
A.2 Promotion Period The Promotion Period:
commences at 12:00:01 am AEST on 15 May 2017; and
closes at 11:59:59 pm AEST on 11 June 2017, unless the Promotion ends earlier in accordance with these Terms.
A.3 Who may enter
Entry to the Promotion is open to residents of Australia only who are aged 18 years or older at the date of entry and who otherwise meet the criteria set out in these Terms.
Employees and officers of the Promoter, the Sponsor, or Wotif.com, the agencies associated with this Promotion and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter the Promotion or to be awarded any prizes in connection with the Promotion.
A.4 How to enter To enter the Promotion, you must, at any time during the Promotion Period:
visit the Wotif.com landing page at https://dothent.wotif.com (the “Promotion Websites“);
Click on the “Create My List” button to create your bucket list of up to five (5) things you would like to see or activities you would like to do in the Northern Territory (your “Northern Territory Bucket List”);
Once you have chosen your Northern Territory Bucket List, click on the “CONTINUE” button and then the “ENTER TO WIN” button on the next page to complete the online entry form, including your full name and email address and confirm acceptance of the Official Rules (“Entry Form”); and,
Submit your completed information to receive one (1) entry in the Promotion.
All entries must be received by the close of the Promotion Period to be eligible.
All Entries will have an equal chance of winning.
A.5 Number of entries There is a limit of one (1) entry per person during the Entry Period. Entries will not be acknowledged. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. If you attempt to obtain entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, or logins, or through any other methods, Sponsor may exclude you from participating in the Sweepstakes. Participation is subject to Sponsor’s Terms of Service. When you enter, you are providing information to Sponsor. No purchase necessary.
A.6 Prizes One (1) potential winner will receive a prize that consists of a travel voucher of $2,000 AUD for use on Wotif.com to redeem (i) Round-trip economy class airfare for two (2) from their nearest capital city to their choice of one (1) of three (3) NT airports: Darwin, Alice Springs or Ayers Rock/Uluru with the remaining value of the voucher to be redeemed against accommodations (one (1) standard room, double occupancy) for two (2) people in a hotel at the chosen destination.
The prize may only be redeemed by the winner himself/herself plus one (1) guest chosen by the winner and the winner and his/her guest may be required to present personal identification documents at check in to prove their identity.
Travel must take place by by 12 June, 2018 or the prize will be forfeited. The prize is subject to availability of flights and a room on the winner’s preferred dates. The winner will need to check availability.
A major credit card will be required at check-in to cover any incidental charges. No cancellation of reservation or transfer of reservation to another date after reservation has been made.
Winner and his/her guest must travel together on the same itinerary and are responsible for obtaining any required necessary documentation (i.e., valid passport, visas, etc.), if required, prior to travel. Guest must be of legal age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence (and at least 18), unless the child or legal ward of a winner and must sign a liability/publicity release prior to issuance of travel documents. If guest is child or legal ward of a winner, winner must sign and return release on behalf of such child or legal ward.
Blackout dates may apply. Travel restrictions may apply. The winner is responsible for paying any applicable federal, provincial, state, local, income and withholding taxes, if any, and any and all other costs and expenses not listed herein as being provided, including but not limited to any/all ground transportation, luggage fees, meals, beverages, hotel incidentals, souvenirs, personal expenses and gratuities. In the event that any tax withholding is required by law for the prize, winner authorises the Promoters to make the corresponding deduction. Promoters or prize provider will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a consequence of flight cancellations or delays. Promoters or prize provider will not be liable for any airline and/or hotel fees incurred as a consequence of changing or cancelling flight and/or hotel reservations. Promoters or prize provider will not replace any lost or stolen prizes or prize components. No reward miles will be awarded for travel on the Promotion prize flights or hotel stay. Prize is awarded “as is” without any warranty or guarantee, either express or implied by Promoters. The prize is subject to and the winner must abide by the prize providers' terms and conditions of booking, of carriage for the flights and of stay for the hotel.
A.7 Prize Redemption and Exclusions Prize is not transferrable and cash equivalent not awarded.
A.8 Prize Value and Numbers The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of the prize is Two Thousand AUS Dollars ($2,000AUD) (the actual value may vary depending on the point of departure, travel itinerary, and costs of air transportation at the time of award). Any difference between the stated value and actual value will not be awarded. Any prize details not specified above will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. A prize may not be transferred and must be accepted as awarded. No cancellation, re-booking, transfer or assignment will be allowed. Winner may not request cash or a substitute prize; however, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if the prize is not available for any reason.
Winner is responsible for all taxes and fees on prizes and expenses, including, without limitation, federal, state and local sales, and income taxes, luxury taxes and any other costs incurred in claiming or using the prize.
A.9 Draws and Prize Winner Notification
The draw for the Prize will take place at the office of the Promoter set out in paragraph A.1 at 12:00:01 AEST on 12 June 2017.
The first valid entry randomly drawn from all valid entries received during the Promotion Period, will win the prize described in paragraph A.6 above. Each valid entry has an equal probability of winning.
Prize winner will be notified by e-mail using the contact details provided in connection with the entry within two (2) days of the relevant draw.
The name of each Entry Period prize winner will be published for a period of 28 days on https://dothent.wotif.com within two (2) days of the relevant draw.
A.10 Redraws/Unclaimed Prizes
If the prize is forfeited, the Promoter will conduct a random redraw in respect of that prize from all entries submitted during the Entry Period attaching to that prize at 6:00 pm AEST within 4 days of the relevant Entry Period original draw at the same location as the original draw. Disposal of any unclaimed prizes may be made subject to any written directions given by any government authority and pursuant to any relevant legislation.
The unclaimed prize draw winner will be notified by email within 24 hours of the redraw, using the contact details provided by that person when entering the Promotion and the unclaimed prize draw winner will also be announced on https://dothent.wotif.com on that same date and displayed for a period of 28 days.
A.11 Game of Chance The Promotion is a game of chance.

Part B – General Terms & Conditions
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and participants in the Promotion (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence).
The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare any or all entries made by you to be invalid if you:
fail to establish their entitlement to enter the Promotion to the Promoter's satisfaction; or
submit an entry which is not in accordance with these Terms.
All entries and any content created and submitted in connection with the entries or the Promotion become and remain the property of the Promoter.
If for any reason this Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or who may benefit from such tampering and, subject to the approval of those authorities that have issued permits for the conduct of this Promotion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion.
Without limiting paragraph B.4 above, if the Promoter becomes aware, or has reason to believe (in its reasonable opinion), that an entrant or a prize winner has:
otherwise engaged in conduct which impacts on the fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Promotion, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion:
disqualify the entrant from the Promotion; or
in the case of a prize winner, declare the prize winner’s entry as void and select a new prize winner.
If a prize winner’s entry is declared void in accordance this paragraph, the prize winner will be deemed to have forfeited the prize and will not be entitled to any supplementary prize, benefit or compensation. The Promoter will then select a new prize winner of the forfeited prize.
In the case of any act, agent or event which prevents or hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Promotion on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, in its absolute discretion but subject to the approval of those authorities that have issued permits for the conduct of this Promotion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion cancel the Promotion.
All prizes awarded, and travel undertaken, in connection with the Promotion are subject to the standard terms and conditions applicable to such prizes and/or travel, as notified to you at the time of booking or at the time of redeeming the prize.
The prize winner consents to the use of their name, place of residence, travel destination, the travel-related item booked, likeness, image and/or voice (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) for promotional and marketing purposes in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration. Prize winners agree to participate in reasonable promotional activities as requested by the Promoter.
Except with the written consent of the Promoter, prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and non-cash prizes cannot be taken as cash. The Promoter has absolute discretion as to whether it will provide such consent and need not provide any reasons to any person for providing or withholding consent.
In the event that any prize item is unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right, subject to the approval of any relevant trade lottery authority, to substitute a prize item of equal or greater value.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability (including negligence) arising out of or in connection with:
inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because or any transmission errors or if they are misdirected or stolen;
any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website (including, without limitation, the Website);
any variation in the Terms;
any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference in any part of the Promotion;
electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the Promotion;
any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity) suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, direct, indirect, special or consequential loss (including economic loss) by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a prize winner;
any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant's or any other person's computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this Promotion.
A prize winner, and his or her guest (if any), must sign and return any liability release and indemnity provided by the Promoter and/or its contractors as a condition of a prize being awarded and adhere to all directions provided by the Promoter.
The Promoter’s decisions in relation to all aspects of the Promotion are final and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence.
Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a prize winner receiving a prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner.
The Promoter and the Sponsor collect personal information in order both to conduct the Promotion. The Promoter and Sponsor may disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers, agencies associated with the Promotion, and to Australian regulatory authorities. Participation is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter, Sponsor and third parties to whom the each respectively provides this information may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for announcing prize winners (name and suburb/postcode only) and for direct marketing, research and debt collection purposes. Participants in the Promotion should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter or the Sponsor. By participating in the Promotion, Australian residents agree to use of their information in accordance with the Expedia Privacy Policy accessible at http://www.expedia.com.au/pub/agent.dll?qscr=hgen&hfnm=PrivacyPol.htx or the Wotif.com Privacy Policy accessible at https://www.wotif.com/p/info-other/privacy.htm if entering via the Wotif.com landing page above.
All entrants in the Promotion acknowledge that:
the Promoter does not own or operate the website located at Expedia.com.au and Wotif.com; and
the websites are owned and operates by Expedia, Inc., a company incorporated in Washington, USA.
