Where will the competition run?The competition will run in participating Coles Supermarket stores in Australia, including Coles online at www.coles.com.au (excluding Coles Express stores and fuel outlets) that display the advertising material.
When will the competition start and end?The competition begins at 12:01 am (AEDT) on 31/01/2024 and ends at 11:59 pm (AEDT) on 02/04/2024 (the Competition Period).
Who can enter?Entry is open to Australian residents aged 21 years or over, who possess a current and valid passport with a minimum of 6 months' validity at the date of departure to the USA. Entrants must also be available to take the major prize on dates determined by the Promoter to coincide with specific events in Melbourne, VIC.
Do I need to buy anything to enter?Yes, during the Competition Period, you need to make a Qualifying Purchase, which is either any 2 x 500ml of Monster Energy® products, 1 x multipack (4x500ml) of Monster Energy® products (all variants), or any 2 x 305ml cans of Java Monster® products in one transaction from a participating Store. Vending machine purchases are excluded. You must keep your receipt as proof of purchase.
How can I enter?After making a Qualifying Purchase, during the Competition Period, you must:
a) Scan the QR code on the in-store advertising material with your smartphone, or
b) Visit www.monsterenergy.com/promotions, locate the entry page, and fill out and submit the online entry form. This includes uploading an image of your Qualifying Purchase receipt and providing requested information such as your name and address.
How many winners will there be and how will they be chosen?There will be a total of 101 winners – 100 minor winners and 1 major winner. The winners will be selected through a draw held at 1 pm (AEDT) on 04/04/2024 at Level 2, 11 York Street, Sydney NSW 2000. The major winner will be the first valid entry drawn randomly, and the next 100 valid entries drawn randomly will each win a minor prize.
What can I win?There are 101 prizes available: 100 minor prizes and 1 major prize.
- Each minor prize is a Monster Energy® merchandise pack valued at AUD $395.
- The major prize includes three experiences to be taken in 2024:
1. A 2024 Toyota AFL Premiership Season Experience in Melbourne, VIC (valued at up to AUD $16,000).
2. A 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final Experience in Melbourne, VIC (valued at up to AUD $31,650).
3. A Training Session with a Monster Energy® sponsored athlete in the USA (valued at up to AUD $42,350).
How many times can I enter?You can enter up to 5 times in total. Each person/email address/phone number can enter once per day and once per Qualifying Purchase.
How and when will the winner be informed?Winners will be informed in writing within two business days of determination. The names and state/territory/postcode of residence of the winners will be published on the website on 11/04/2024 for a period of 28 days.
Must I keep anything to verify my entry?You must keep the original itemized purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase when asked may result in disqualification.
If I win, when must I claim my prize?Prizes must be claimed by 5 pm (AEST) on 09/05/2024.
Unclaimed prize/sIf a prize is unclaimed or cannot be awarded, it may be re-awarded to Reserve Entrant/s or undergo an unclaimed prize draw.
Total prize poolThe total minor prize pool is AUD $39,500. The total major prize pool is valued at up to AUD $90,000. The overall total prize pool is valued at up to AUD $129,500.
