Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is only open to Australian residents aged between 18-35 years inclusive. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
Entries will be judged by a Pedestrian.TV panel and Contiki and the best entry (what do they need to do to win?) determined by the panel will be chosen as the winner. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winners.
Pedestrian.TV & Contiki’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
One team consisting of two people (2) will be chosen and will win the Major Prize. The Major Prize consists of a 15 day Best of the Balkans tour with Contiki starting in either Budapest or Split. The trip includes 14 night’s hotel accommodation, and various other inclusions as described on Contiki’s websitehttp://www.contiki.com/destinations/europe/tours/2476-best-of-balkans-start-budapest. The Major Prize is valued up to AUD$6,650
The Major Prize includes return economy airfares for 2. Flights will be valid from an Australian capital city to either Split or Budapest.
Airline chosen is at the discretion of Contiki and subject to the airline rules and regulations. The most direct flights will be booked and no changes to routing are permitted, airfares are for travel to coincide with the above mentioned Contiki Tour.  Airfares are economy class and cannot be upgraded. Major Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers.
Your final travel date must be confirmed to Contiki on or before 01 May 2015 otherwise your prize will no longer be valid and will be forfeited. Extension cannot be issued. Airline tickets must be issued on or before 01 May 2015. All travel must be redeemed and completed by 31 December 2016.
The prize is valid for Contiki’s 15 day Best of the Balkans tour on departures between 28 May 2015 and Sep 17 2015 from Contiki’s Europe 2016/17 brochure.
The prize is subject to availability, non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
Taxes, passports, visas, some meals, spending money, transport to and from departure and arrival points and all other ancillary costs are not included and are the winner's responsibility unless otherwise stated.
Reservations are available on a firm space basis subject to availability at the time of booking (please note availability is limited during school holidays and peak holiday periods).
The air tickets are non-transferable, non-changeable, not redeemable for cash and travel is restricted to the airline’s (chosen at STA Travel’s discretion) operated aircraft and direct services only.
Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (b) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (c) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (d) if the Contiki tour is cancelled for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
As a condition of accepting the Major Prize, the winner must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
Total prize pool valued up to AUD$11,250. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
All entries become and remain the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter.
