What are the prizes?The best valid entry, as judged by the panel, will win the Ultimate Entertainer’s Kitchen Prize Package, valued at up to $40,000. The prize package includes:
1. Kinsman Cabinetry: Valued at up to $20,000, includes design, standard accessories, delivery, and labor for installation of cabinetry.
2. Cosentino Benchtop: A Dekton benchtop valued at up to $7,500.
3. Omega Appliances: Provided by Residentia, valued at up to $5,000, includes an oven, cooktop, rangehood, and dishwasher, plus installation costs.
4. Benchtop Installation and Fabrication: Valued at up to $2,500.
What is the total prize pool amount?The total prize pool for the competition is AUD $40,000.
Are there any specific conditions for the prizes?Yes, the prize does not cover:
- Accommodation, meals, or spending money.
- Associated trades or building works (e.g., tiling, plumbing, electrical, flooring).
- Any costs incurred for utilities before, during, or after installation.
- Insurances, taxes, ongoing maintenance costs, or any costs exceeding the allocated budget for each prize component.
When must the prize be redeemed?The prize must be redeemed by 31st June 2025. Note that cabinetry production may take between 8 to 12 weeks.
What happens if a winner cannot provide proof of eligibility?If the winner cannot provide suitable proof of eligibility, they forfeit their prize, and no substitute or compensation will be offered.
Will the winner's name be publicized?Yes, the winner agrees to provide comments and participate in promotional activities regarding the competition. Their name, image, comments, and any media related to them may be used for promotional purposes by the promoter without reference or compensation to the winner.
