Who can enter the competition?The competition is open to anyone 18 years of age or older who is a permanent resident of Australia or New Zealand, holds an active Facebook or Instagram account, and is not ineligible under the standard terms and conditions.
When does the competition close?The competition opens on 7 October 2024 at 9:00am AEDT and closes on 31 October 2024 at 11:59pm AEDT.
How can someone enter the competition?To enter the competition, eligible participants must:
1. Log in to their Facebook or Instagram account.
2. Visit either the ESPNAUNZ Facebook page or Instagram page.
3. Comment creatively, originally, and compellingly on the competition post on either page. The comment must be at least 25 words long and must not infringe on any intellectual property rights or include inappropriate content.
What is the prize and what is its value?The prize is an all-expenses-paid trip for two to San Francisco from 5 December 2024 to 9 December 2024, valued at a maximum of AU$17,000. The prize includes:
- Two tickets to attend a San Francisco 49ers Official Fan Experience on 8 December 2024, valued at up to AU$5,000.
- Two tickets to a Timberwolves vs. Golden State NBA game on 6 December 2024, valued at up to AU$1,000.
- Two return economy flights to San Francisco from the winner’s nearest capital city in Australia or New Zealand, valued at up to AU$7,200.
- Four nights' accommodation at a 4-star hotel in San Francisco, twin-share, valued at up to AU$2,400.
- Return ground transfers between San Francisco International Airport and the hotel, as well as between the hotel and both events, valued at up to AU$1,400.
What is the total prize pool amount?The total prize pool is valued at a maximum of AU$17,000, exclusive of GST.
When will the winner be announced?The winner will be selected on or around 4 November 2024 at 10:00am AEDT, based on the creativity, originality, and compelling nature of their entry. The winner will be notified via Facebook or Instagram direct message.
What happens if the prize is not claimed?If the prize is not claimed by 10:00am AEDT on 8 November 2024, an unclaimed prize draw will be held on 11 November 2024 at 11:59am AEDT. The new winner will be notified by Facebook or Instagram, and they must claim the prize by 15 November 2024. If unclaimed, the prize will be forfeited with no substitute offered.
