When does the competition close?The competition commences on Monday, 23rd September 2024, at 09:00 AEST and closes on Wednesday, 25th September 2024, at 15:00 AEST.
How can you enter?To enter, participants must:
1. Visit The Morning Show website at www.themorningshow.com.au during the competition period.
2. Register their full name, address (including postcode), date of birth, a valid email address, and telephone number.
3. Answer the competition question in 25 words or less: "Tell us in 25 words or less, who you support and why you want to be at the 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final."
4. Tick the checkbox confirming availability to attend the 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final on Saturday, 28th September 2024.
Entries must be original, written in English, and submitted by 15:00 AEST on 25th September 2024. Participants can enter as many times as they wish, as this is a game of skill and not chance.
What are the prizes and how much is the total prize pool?There will be one (1) prize winner who will receive:
- 2 x tickets to the 2024 Toyota AFL Grand Final – valued at $800 in total.
- 2 x return economy flights to Melbourne from anywhere on the Virgin Australia domestic network, including lounge access – valued at $1,200 in total (Only if the winner resides outside of Melbourne).
- 1 x night accommodation in a twin/double room for two people – valued at $500.
Total Prize Pool Value: Up to $2,500 AUD (including GST). If the winner resides in Melbourne, they will not receive the airfare component, but the total value remains up to $2,500.
Additional Prize Details:- The winner and their traveling companion must complete the trip between Saturday, 28th September 2024, and Sunday, 29th September 2024.
- The prize is based on two people sharing one twin/double room.
- If the winner resides in Melbourne, they will forfeit the airfare portion of the prize.
- Flight availability, accommodation, and any other prize elements are subject to availability at the time of booking.
- The winner and companion can extend their stay at their own cost.
- The winner will be responsible for any additional expenses, such as meals, taxes, travel insurance, excess baggage, and other personal costs.
How is the winner selected?This is a game of skill, and the winner will be judged based on the creativity and originality of their entry. The winner will be notified by email or phone within two business days of the judging, which takes place at Seven Network, Media City, 8 Central Ave, Eveleigh, NSW 2015 on 25th September 2024. The winner’s name will be published on The Morning Show website by Friday, 27th September 2024.
