HOW TO CLAIM
1) To be eligible for a chance to win a The Good Guys Store Credit valued at up to $200 (“Bonus”) entrants must visit www.thegoodguys.com.au between Monday 25 July 2016 to Friday 29 July 2016 inclusive (“Promotion Period”), register their details and scratch the virtual scratch card. If three (3) of the squares have an identical store credit amount, the entrant will win the corresponding prize.
2) The entrant is not required to make a purchase but must register their details for a chance to win.
3) The Scratch & Win promotion is only available to entrants that visit online www.thegoodguys.com.au during the promotional period.
4) Multiple registrations are not permitted, only one (1) entry per contact number/email address / customer will be allowed.
5) Entrants will be instantly notified if they are a winner. If three (3) of the squares have an identical store credit amount, the entrant will win the corresponding prize. The maximum The Good Guys Store Credit that an entrant can win is $200.
6) Winners will receive their The Good Guys Store Credit (“Bonus”) via email by no later than 09/08/16.
7) The Good Guys Store Credit will be valid until 09/10/16.
8) There are one thousand (1,000) x $10 The Good Guys Store Credits, five hundred (500) x $20 The Good Guys Store Credits, five hundred (500) x $50 The Good Guys Store Credits and twenty five (25) x $200 The Good Guys Store Credits in total to be won. Total prize pool valued at $50,000.
9) By entering “The Good Guys Scratch & Win promotion” and by providing a telephone number and an email address, you consent to receiving any email regarding the competition, and other emails which may inform you of special offers, exclusive discounts, promotional and marketing materials by email and SMS from The Good Guys.
10) Winner’s first name and first initial of their surname and suburb will be published on The Good Guys website at http://www.thegoodguys.com.au/winners no later than 3 working days after competition has ended and for a minimum of 28 days.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1) Instructions on How to Enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the Scratch & Win competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Offer not valid in conjunction with any other The Good Guys offer.
2) To be eligible for a chance to Scratch & Win a The Good Guys Store Credit valued at up to $200, entrants must register their first name, surname, email address and contact number.
3) Eligible entries must be started and be completed during the Competition Period.
4) To be eligible to enter a functioning email must be supplied. The Promoter will not accept liability for costs or claims arising from missing or invalid addresses. Changes of nominated claimant address will not be permitted after the competition has closed.
5) Competition is only open to Australian permanent residents aged 18 years or over.
6) Employees of any The Good Guys store and their immediate families or agencies associated with this Competition are ineligible to Enter.
7) Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
8) If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the entrant will be deemed to be the person in whose name the registration is completed in.
9) The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
10) The Promoter reserve the right to change any terms contained in these Terms of Use at any time subject to the Relevant State Authorities who grant the licences. Changes to Terms of Use will be available in store. Contact the Customer Care line on 1300 GOOD GUYS (466 348) with any queries.
11) The Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute The Good Guys Store Credit with an offer to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any applicable written directions from a regulatory authority.
12) If this Competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any claimant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.
13) A Store Credit must be treated like cash. If the Store Credit is defaced, mutilated, altered, lost or stolen, it will not be replaced, refunded or redeemed. The Store Credit is: Redeemable for merchandise or services at participating The Good Guys stores only; Not redeemable for cash and cannot be used for payment of credit or retailer accounts; Must be redeemed before the specified expiry date. It is up to the claimant to use the full value of the Store Credit before expiry date. Cash will not be given for any unused balance on the Store Credit. Unused balance on the expiry date of The Store Credit will not be refunded or credited. If purchase exceeds available Store Credit balance, the claimant must pay the variance with another payment method. The Store Credit balance can be checked by calling 1300 466 348. The Promoter reserve the right to change any terms contained in these Terms of Use at any time. Changes to Terms of Use will be available in store. See in store if you have any reason to believe an error has occurred in relation to the Store Credit.

14) Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any Claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any tax liability incurred by a claimant; or (e) use of the Bonus.
15) All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects personal information about you to enable you to participate in this Competition. The Promoter is committed to maintaining your privacy, and we want you to understand how we use and manage your data. In order to improve our services and provide better content The Promoter may keep track of patterns of use in the e-mails and e-mail newsletters sent.
